In my last article, I have provided information about HP Performance Anywhere Beta program sign-up. In this blog post, we will see about HP Performance Anywhere features, how to monitor, about user management, about private location management etc.
Below are the steps to generate agent password:
1. Log in to the SaaS Portal
2. Click on Performance Anywhere service.
3. Select the HP Performance Anywhere mini-app under My Apps.
4. Click on Menu and the select Download and Setup and select Diagnostics Agent as shown below.
5. In the Configuration tab, select Create Password to generate a new Agent Password.
6. To install agent software, click on Download tab, and click on Java or .NET agent software and its documentation.
Monitoring QAInsights.com
After activating the account, I entered QAInsights.com to start monitoring and selected the location Chicago, IL. Now we will see how to monitor the performance of QAInsights.com
1. Log in to the SaaS Portal
2. Click on Performance Anywhere service.
3. Select the HP Performance Anywhere mini-app under My Apps.
4. Click on Synthetic Overview in Application Overview as shown below.
5. Here is the snapshot of Availability of QAInsights. i.e. 100% availability.
6. Click on Performance tab to view the response time of QAInsights.
7. To change the Synthetic Monitoring settings, click on Menu > Synthetic Monitoring Settings as shown below.
8. In Synthetic Monitoring settings, you can customize Time Zone, Frequency, Locations, Thresholds like Transactions and Alerts as shown below.
9. You can add more applications to monitor. Click on + button as shown below to add more applications.
Enter all the mandatory fields and the click on Done as shown below.
