How I successfully cleared AWS Solution Architect Associate certification?

Few weeks ago, I successfully cleared my first AWS certification – Solution Architect Associate (2018). In this blog post, I am going to share how I successfully cleared AWS Solution Architect Associate certification?

I insist that every performance tester or engineer must take at least certification in the cloud arena. It doesn’t matter whether AWS, GCP, Azure or Alibaba. Every cloud provider has their own certification/learning path. You need to decide which own is apt for your career growth. But choose the certification from architecting perspective. It will be much helpful in performance testing/engineering.

I selected AWS because, I have prior experience in developing Alexa skills using Lambda. Also, AWS is pretty much easy to get started. You do get 1 year of free access to most of the products/services which will help you to deploy your own applications on the cloud.

  1. Hi Naveen, excellent video on AWS prep. For sure lot of hard work there. I am based out of Toronto, preparing for my AWS Solution Architect Associate exam. Can you clarify. Amazon have new exam but they haven’t released a “new book” AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate [SAA-C01]. You are referring to an old book. I want to start preparing NOW, unfortunately the new book will not be released till March 2019. Can I prepare and pass using the old book or should I wait till March 2019. Your opinion please.
