User Management & Social Experience in HP Performance Anywhere

HP Performance Anywhere provides effective user management arena to define the roles for performance engineers. There are three types of roles in HP Performance Anywhere.

  1. Customer Portal Admin Customer User – It is a management level.
  2. Customer Portal Operator Customer User – It is a operation level
  3. Customer Portal Viewer Customer User – It is just a view level

To manage users, click on Menu > User Management as shown below.

New window User Management gets launched. Click on New User button as shown below to add new user.

Fill out the form with valid details as shown below and then click on OK.

Social experience

HP Performance Anywhere has social way of sharing the information with the team. Click on right pane to share your information with your team as shown below.

Conclusion:

I have just started exploring the new features of HP Performance Anywhere. Till now the user experience is awesome. It is very simple and intuitive. Still I need to explore about the agents which is core of the performance monitoring. I will post detailed article about the agents very soon.
