Private Location Management in HP Performance Anywhere

In this blog post, we will see about Private Location Management in HP Performance Anywhere.

What is Private Location Management?

Private Location Management helps you to use HP Business Process Monitor (BPM) to monitor internal applications from locations you set up and manage.

To add Private Locations, click on Menu > Private Location Management as shown below.

Click on + button as shown below.

Enter location name and then click on Done to add, as shown below.

Once you added the location, you need to configure the status as connected. Follow below instructions to configure.

1. Download and install Business Process Monitor (BPM) from SaaS Portal.
2. Log in to BPM Admin using the URL http://<machine name>:<port_no>
3. Click the Create New Instance icon to add an instance for the private location
4. In the Create New Instance wizard, enter the same Location Name, Host Name, and Gateway Server URL values as those  configured for the private location in HP Performance Anywhere.
