How to test mobiles using DeviceAnywhere Free?

Step 1

Navigate to http://www.keynotedeviceanywhere.com/

Step 2

Click on Learn More under DeviceAnywhere FREE as shown below.

Step 3

Click on Get Started button to continue with the registration.

Step 4

Fill in all the mandatory details and click on Submit.

Step 5

Once your email id gets confirmed with Keynote, navigate to http://portal.keynotedeviceanywhere.com/account/login/page to login into console.

Step 6

Below is the home page of Keynote DeviceAnywhere FREE console.

In the left side, you could see the devices such as iPhone, Motorola, Samsung, Nokia etc. Each devices has a signal, green represents the device is available.

In the right side, you could see the options to validate different aspects of mobile such as Text/Entry, Restart/Wake-up, Orientation etc.

Before you start testing, you need to acquire the device. Just click on the device to acquire. Here I am going to acquire Apple iPhone 4S. Then click on Acquire Device button as shown below.

Once the device acquired, you have 10 minutes of time to test your applications. You can hold Shift key to swipe left/up/right/down. Below is the screen shot of our website QAInsights which I launched in iPhone 4S.
