On June 10, 2013, SmartBear announced its latest version of TestComplete 9.3 with full fledged cross-browser testing. In this blog post, we will see about the new features of TestComplete 9.3.
Browsers Compatibility:
In this new version, TestComplete supports Safari 5 and Opera 12. Following are the fhe browsers which TestComplete supports:
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Internet Explorer
- Opera
- Safari

TestComplete 9.3 supports Sencha’s Ext JS controls, Oracle’s JavaFX 2 and also full support for Java based framework for rich client development.
Following are the browsers which TestComplete supports testing of Ext JS controls in web applications :
- Microsoft Internet Explorer ver. 7-10.
- Mozilla Firefox ver. 18-21.
- Google Chrome ver. 27.
- Opera Software Opera ver. 12.10 – 12.15.
- Any web browser based on the Microsoft WebBrowser control.
Name Mapping 2.0
TestComplete 9.3 has powerful search feature to find UI objects using automated name mapping thru ExtendedFind option.
Also, TestComplete supports JIRA, Axosoft, Apache, Qt 5 applications and SVN
- JIRA 6.0, 5.2, and 5.0
- Axosoft On Time 2012 and 2013
- Subversion 1.7.7 – 1.7.9
